Care About Me is a mental health, substance use and addiction treatment services access line for current and future Pinellas County residents. We offer a safe and confidential environment to guide you accessing services.
We understand that mental health, substance use and addiction treatment are complex issues that affect not only the individual, but also their family members and friends. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive range of resources and services that can help you and your loved ones overcome these problems and lead a fulfilling life.
We offer access to a range of services including: counseling, support groups, educational resources and referrals to local, specialized treatment centers and providers.
We believe that your health is a journey that requires commitment, patience and support. That’s why we’re here for you every step of the way, providing you with the tools and resources you need to overcome mental health and/or substance use and achieve lasting recovery.
Pinellas County has partnered with funders of behavioral health services to create Care About Me, which is a coordinated access model. These partners formed the Pinellas Integrated Care Alliance which is comprised of Pinellas County Government, Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, Central Florida Behavioral Health Network, The Juvenile Welfare Board and the Florida Department of Health Pinellas. Collectively, they are committed to improving the performance of the Pinellas County Behavioral Health System and with that commitment have supported the development of the Consumer-Focused Coordinated Access Model which focuses on reducing barriers to access treatment, improving coordination and warm hand-offs, and increasing consistency in practices related to screening, assessment and triage.
